Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act
Hybrid Outreach Meeting

On October 30, 2025, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host a hybrid (in-person and virtual) public outreach meeting at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. The meeting will gather public comments on agency regulations that may be outdated, unnecessary, or unduly burdensome.

This meeting supports the agencies’ efforts to review their regulations every 10 years, in accordance with the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996 (EGRPRA).

To date, the agencies have published four Federal Register notices identifying twelve categories of regulations currently under review. The topics for discussion at the meeting include:

  1. Applications and Reporting
  2. Powers and Activities
  3. International Operations
  4. Consumer Protection
  5. Directors, Officers, and Employees
  6. Money Laundering
  7. Rules of Procedure
  8. Safety and Soundness
  9. Securities
  10. Banking Operations
  11. Capital
  12. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)

Registration Requirements:
Members of the public must register if they wish to either

  • attend the meeting in person, or
  • provide comments virtually during the meeting.
