CRA

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), enacted by Congress in 1977 (12 U.S.C. 2901) and implemented by Regulations 12 CFR parts 25, 228, 345, and 195, is intended to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate. What's New

	9/28/23 - The FFIEC released an updated 2023 Census flat file. This final release of the 2023 flat file includes demographics for the four island areas.
	8/10/23 - The FFIEC released the 2023 Census flat file and the 2023 FFIEC Median Family Income Report. A second release of the flat file later this year will include demographics for the four island areas.
	6/23/23 - The 2023 Distressed / Underserved Tract List is now available.
	2/17/23 - The 2023 CRA Data Entry Software is now available.
	2/16/23 - In order to increase transparency behind how the FFIEC Geocoding and Mapping System works, the FFIEC released a document to help Geographic Information System (GIS) specialists replicate the FFIEC System. The document may be found here.
	12/19/22 - The Annual CRA Asset-Size Threshold Adjustments for Small and Intermediate Small Banks.
	12/15/22 - Press Release announces the availability of the 2021 CRA data.
	12/1/22 - The 2022 CRA Data Entry Software Release 2 is now available.
	8/26/22 - Using the Census Redistricting Data and 2020 5-year ACS data, the FFIEC released a flat file as the second part of the FFIEC 2022 Census products release. The 2022 FFIEC Median Family Income Report was also released.
	4/21/22 - The FFIEC produced an ad-hoc release of the MSA median family income, tract income, income percentage, and income level indicator using the 2016-2020 ACS 5-Year Estimates.
	3/30/22 - The 2022 CRA Data Entry Software Release 1 is now available.
	3/30/22 - Using the Census Redistricting Data released on August 12, 2021, the FFIEC released a limited flat file as the first part of the FFIEC 2022 Census products release.
	3/18/22 - Due to delays with multiple products from the U.S. Census Bureau, the FFIEC has faced challenges in releasing the 2022 FFIEC Census products. In order to respond to user needs, the FFIEC will release the various FFIEC Census products in a sequential manner as the data become available. The tentative release schedule is provided here.
