List of Banks in Peer Group Report—This report provides a list of banks by peer group. The list includes core information such as location, assets and net income and it may be sorted by several criteria. An individual bank’s UBPR may be accessed directly from the list by clicking on the certificate number. From the FFIEC Central Data Repository's Public Data Distribution web site at the following URL address https://cdr.ffiec.gov/public/ManageFacsimiles.aspx you will be able to select the List State Average Distribution Report from the Report drop down menu
After selecting the List of Banks in Peer Group Report from the menu of Report choices you will notice the following screen.
The user will need to select a date from the Report Date pull down menu. After the correct report date is selected the State or Territory drop down menu becomes populated with a list of all available States and U.S Territories. See print screen below.
After the peer group of choice is selected the user should select the Search button on the top of the page to display the List of Banks in Peer Group Report.
In the print screen below a List of Banks in Peer Group Report was generated for Peer Group 3 - insured commercial banks having assets between $3 billion and $10 billion.
You will notice the default report is in Table mode and contains a listing of all 141 banks contained in Peer Group 3. The report displays the following nine columns of data from left to right: ID RSSD, FDIC Cert., Class, Name, City, State, No., Offices, Average Assets, and Net Income. The report can be exported into a TXT file by selecting the Export button on the top left of the page. Lastly, the user has the ability to select on a bank ID RSSD number which will generate a UBPR for bank chosen.
Additionally, the user may toggle from Table to Map mode which shows how the banks for the peer group selected are distributed throughout the United States and U.S. Territories. The default map presents data for all states and number of offices. See print screen below.
By selecting the State drop down menu the user can display data for any state or U.S. territory. Like in the above map of the United States the default data is for number of offices. See print screen below.
However, the user can select the Map Data drop down menu and select Average Assets or Net Income

In the below print screen Net income was selected.
Also, by placing your cursor over one of the blue circles which represent a bank the user will be able to see various data about the bank and also be able to generate a UBPR for the bank selected.
Lastly, by selecting the Download drop down menu the user will be able to generate graphs in any of the following three formats: PDF, JPEG and SVG.
