PRIVATE MORTGAGE
INSURANCE AGGREGATE AND DISCLOSURE INFORMATION SHEET
PRIVATE MORTGAGE INSURANCE (PMI) COMPANIES HAVE ARRANGED
THROUGH THE FEDERAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS EXAMINATION COUNCIL (FFIEC) TO DISCLOSE
INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC ON THE DISPOSITION OF APPLICATIONS MORTGAGE INSURANCE.
DISCLOSURES ARE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE AT THE COMPANIES' OWN OFFICES, AS WELL AS
ON THE WEB (HTTP://WWW.FFIEC.GOV/REPORTS.HTM) IN
ADDITION TO EACH PRIVATE MORTGAGE INSURANCE COMPANY’S INDIVIDUAL
DISCLOSURE STATEMENT, AGGREGATE DATA TABLES COVERING THE MORTGAGE INSURANCE
ACTIVITY OF ALL ACTIVE PMI COMPANIES IN A PARTICULAR MSA/MD ARE MADE AVAILABLE
ON THE INTERNET.
THE PMI DATA ON THE WEB INCLUDES DATA FROM THE UNIVERSE OF REPORTERS; THEREFORE, USERS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE INDIVIDUAL DISCLOSURE STATEMENT FOR EACH PMI COMPANY REPORTING DATA AND AGGREGATE TABLES FOR EACH MSA/MD NATIONWIDE.
AS IN THE PAST, TO CATEGORIZE CENSUS TRACTS BY INCOME WE RELY ON THE 2000 CENSUS TO DETERMINE THE MEDIAN FAMILY INCOME FOR EACH MSA/MD. FOR CATEGORIZING APPLICANTS OR BORROWERS, WE RELY ON INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FOR AN UPDATED ESTIMATE OF THE MEDIAN FAMILY INCOME FOR EACH MSA/MD.
CHANGES FOR 2005 DATA
THERE ARE NO CHANGES TO THE 2005 PMI AGGREGATE AND DISCLOSURE TABLES.

CONTENT OF 2005 AGGREGATE
AND DISCLOSURE STATEMENT TABLES
A DISCLOSURE STATEMENT MAY CONTAIN UP TO 20 TABLES FOR EACH MSA/MD.IN ADDITION, A DISCLOSURE STATEMENT MAY CONTAIN ONE SUPPLEMENTAL TABLE, AND SUMMARY TABLES A-1 AND A-2 (SUMMARIZED
AT THE NATIONWIDE LEVEL OF THE PMI COMPANY). ALSO, IT WILL CONTAIN
AN INSTITUTION REGISTER SUMMARY (IRS) REPORT, WHICH REFLECTS ALL THE DATA
REPORTED BY A PMI INSTITUTION FOR SPECIFIC LOAN/APPLICATION REGISTER (LAR)
FIELDS IN A SUMMARY REPORT.
THE INCLUSION
OF A TABLE IN THE DISCLOSURE DATA FOR A PARTICULAR PMI COMPANY DEPENDS
ON THE INSTITUTION'S MORTGAGE INSURANCE ACTIVITY. FOR EXAMPLE, IF DURING 2004 THE
INSTITUTION DID NOT REPORT REASONS
FOR DENIALS ON APPLICATIONS FOR INSURANCE, ITS DISCLOSURE STATEMENT WILL
NOT INCLUDE TABLES 8-2, 8-3, 8-6 OR 8-7.
AGGREGATE
TABLES SHOW THE AGGREGATE LENDING ACTVITY FOR ALL PMI companies COVERED
BY HMDA FOR EACH MSA/MD FOR THE ENTIRE NATION. ONE MSA/MD AGGREGATE TABLE
DOCUMENT MAY CONTAIN UP TO 23 TABLES.
