2/28/2013 - OMB released the revised delineations of Metropolitan Statistical Areas, which are effective immediately. The OMB’s revised definitions will not affect CRA assessment areas created or CRA data collected in 2013. This is consistent with §_.41 of the CRA Regulations, which indicates that the MSA or metropolitan division boundaries in effect as of January 1 should be used for CRA assessment area delineations. The new MSA definitions will apply to CRA data collected and assessment areas delineated on or after January 1, 2014.
